The perfect combination is when we interrelate technology and human talent. Today at Óxido we reconfigured and placed Ricardo Lameiras at the head of this department as sound designer and studio mixer. His talent and sensibility join the experience of Karim Mariscal and together they lead this department.
In addition to this, we have two studios. The first is a Dolby Atmos studio with an exquisite configuration, using AVID technology with Matrix Studio interfaces, a 24-channel S6 M40 console, and the wonderful Genelec Ones series monitoring system. The second studio has a 7.1 system using the same configuration as the Atmos. In addition, we have both studios interconnected with fiber optics, which gives us the possibility of interacting between both studios in a transparent manner with 10G connectivity that provides us with great performance.
The other studio we have is a 7.1 studio, with Avid Matrix Studio technology and Genelec monitoring. This studio is designed for design and editing, but we can also mix and prepare the session for the final mix in Atmos. We also have very fine preamplifiers for voice processing, in addition to the microphone collection.
